On Movement (and Memory)
“Never stop, Natanael. As soon as an environment hasbecome like you, or you like your environment, it is no longer
of any use to you. Then you must leave it. Nothing is more
dangerous to you than your family, your room, your past.”
Andrè Gide.
On Movement (and Memory) is a wide-ranging talk on the way we move and the way that different kinds of displacement help us create memories. First given at Kuiperfest 2009, it has now featured at institutions in countries such as Scotland, Spain, Mexico, the United States, Gibraltar and England. It will continue to tour internationally throughout 2010 and 2011.
